Objective:

The Cooks/Kitchen Helper Position is responsible for assisting in the serving and preparation of food. In addition, maintaining good housekeeping in the kitchen and dining areas

Essential Functions:

Knowledgeable in proper cooked and uncooked food temperatures Knowledge of all safety guidelines in kitchen Cleans and checks service equipment Able to identify and safely use all kitchen equipment. Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays. Cleans and maintains kitchen facilities Assists in moving and storing supplies

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Ability to have a highly motivated and energetic personality. Working Knowledge of basic kitchen equipment.

Must be able to carry 25-50 lbs. Able to stand for multiple hours.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent Three months experience in a food service area Active Serve Safe Food Handler certification

Active Food Handler Safety Training Card Additional Qualifications:

Must pass a background check and drug test. 2 Step TB test Work Physical Fingerprints (Background Check)
