Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and assist with food prep to ensure smooth kitchen operations Cook and assemble menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety protocols Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and portioning Support menu planning efforts by providing input on ingredient availability and preparation techniques Assist with catering orders and special event meal preparations as needed Serve dishes promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant, catering, or food service environment is preferred Strong knife skills and proficiency in basic cooking techniques Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Experience with meal preparation, food presentation, and kitchen equipment use Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Familiarity with dietary department practices and dietary aide experience is a plus Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward collaboration and learning This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to expand their culinary skills while contributing to a lively kitchen environment.
