In this role, you will be at the heart of creating delicious, high-quality New York-style pizzas and supporting overall kitchen operations in one of Las Vegas's most exciting pizza destinations. Your enthusiasm for food preparation, attention to detail, and culinary skills will help deliver an exceptional dining experience for our guests. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your cooking talents in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where every slice is crafted with care and precision. Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook authentic New York-style pizzas according to BY The Slice Pizza Bar 13 recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation
• Master the art of hand-tossing dough, spreading sauce, and applying toppings to create picture-perfect pizzas
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and assembling fresh ingredients for various menu items
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including pizza ovens, dough mixers, prep tables, knives, and other culinary tools
• Support the team during busy service hours (including late-night shifts) by managing multiple orders with speed and accuracy
• Follow all food handling procedures to ensure the safety and freshness of ingredients used in meal preparation
• Collaborate with team members to uphold the high standards of food quality, presentation, and customer satisfaction that BY The Slice Pizza Bar 13 is known for
• Assist with inventory management, stock rotation, and ingredient prep to keep the kitchen running smoothly Requirements
• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment, preferably with pizza kitchen or culinary experience
• Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling practices
• Experience with menu preparation, meal preparation, and cooking in a fast-paced setting
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail, especially during high-volume periods
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards serving guests
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed in a Las Vegas entertainment environment
• Passion for pizza and Italian cuisine is a plus!
