April 2026 SK Hospitality Group is seeking skilled, disciplined Line Cooks to join the opening team of Bueno and Yamasaki —two highly anticipated, design-forward dining concepts located within a 15,000-square-foot destination in the heart of the Financial District, moments from the New York Stock Exchange. Yamasaki is a high-end Japanese Asian fusion restaurant, focused on precision, technique, and elevated presentation. Bueno is a fun, trendy restaurant and lounge, offering bold Latin-inspired cuisine in a vibrant, high-energy setting. We are seeking culinary professionals who are passionate about their craft, committed to excellence, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance kitchen. Benefits Medical, dental, and vision coverage Life and disability insurance Employee dining and retail discounts Position Overview As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for executing dishes with precision, consistency, and attention to detail while maintaining the highest culinary standards. You will work closely with the Executive Chef and kitchen leadership to ensure seamless service and an exceptional guest experience. Key Responsibilities Prepare and execute menu items according to established recipes, standards, and presentation guidelines Maintain consistency, quality, and timing during all phases of service Set up and maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked station Ensure all ingredients are properly prepped, labeled, and stored Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations Work collaboratively with the culinary team to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations Maintain a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail in a high-volume environment Assist with inventory management, prep lists, and ordering as directed Participate in menu tastings, training, and pre-service briefings Support opening and closing procedures, including deep cleaning and station breakdown Uphold kitchen standards, discipline, and professionalism at all times Qualifications 2+ years of experience in a high-volume, upscale or fine dining kitchen required NYC kitchen experience strongly preferred Strong knife skills and foundational culinary techniques Experience with Japanese, Asian fusion, or Latin cuisine is a plus Ability to work cleanly, efficiently, and with attention to detail Strong work ethic and team-oriented mindset Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment Culinary training or degree is a plus, but not required Work Environment & Expectations Fast-paced, high-volume luxury kitchen environment Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a hot, high-pressure setting Evening, weekend, and holiday availability required Ability to lift, carry, and move kitchen equipment and ingredients Maintain a clean, professional appearance in accordance with kitchen standards Commitment to excellence, consistency, and continuous improvement Join SK Hospitality Group in launching Bueno and Yamasaki—two premier dining destinations redefining culinary excellence in New York City.
