Full-Time Shift 9 Job Description The Cook is responsible for the preparation of large quantity food items for patients, guests, staff, and special functions in accordance with Hospital Standards. Education And Credentials High School graduate or equivalent with minimum of 1-2 years food service experience with knowledge of food preparation, handling, and storage required. Associates Degree or Vocational/Technical Degree in Culinary Service and/or Foodservice preferred. Serve Safe Certification preferred. Experience 1-2 years Food Service experience with knowledge of food preparation, handling, and storage required. 1-2 years Large Institution Cook experience with knowledge of food preparation, handling, and storage preferred.
