Job Description Summary:

Prepares ingredients and cooks menu items to order at assigned station(s) ensuring quality, consistency, and timely service in a fast-paced kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute dishes from menu recipes and plating guides for assigned station (grill, fry, sauté, garde-manger, prep, etc.). Follow recipes, portion control, and presentation standards. Monitor cooking times, temperatures, and techniques to ensure food quality and safety. Coordinate with other stations and expeditor to deliver orders promptly. Clean and sanitize work station, tools, and equipment during shift and at close. Rotate stock using FIFO; assist with receiving and storing deliveries. Report shortages, equipment issues, and food safety concerns to supervisor. Assist in training new hires and follow direction from sous chef/chef de cuisine.
