Line Cook

Join our team! Slate Town Brewing Company in Granville, NY is seeking a kitchen line cook and prep cook to expand our brewery pub team. We are a small friendly team and looking for someone with a hospitable attitude, great attention to detail, and strong communication skills. We're looking for an organized, reliable individual that thrives in a fast paced work environment and is able perform well under pressure. This is position is part time or full time throughout the week. Experience and kitchen sense helpful but not necessary, we will train the right person. Prep Cook Responsibilities:

Food Prep and preparing menu items and specials. Maintain proper cleanliness and organization of the kitchen to meet health code. Communicate professionally with management, coworkers, and guests. Manage time effectively, stay organized, and work efficiently, help others do the same. Able to stay composed and work under pressure to ensure a smooth service. Contribute mindful ideas and prep for specials, utilizing product and reducing waste. Ensure the kitchen is closed properly with attention to detail. We prepare and serve a simple Brewery Pub menu for a strong local community and significant tourism segment.

Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
