Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and efficient Cook to assist with food preparation and related tasks at Wide Waters Grill. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, work well under pressure, and have excellent communication skills. This role requires a hands-on approach, ensuring smooth operations and a positive work environment. Opportunity for the right person to move into a management position.

Responsibilities Include:

Cook and prepare food orders effectively and efficiently. Ensure exceptional food quality at all times. Monitor stock and assist with restocking as needed. Operation of standard commercial kitchen equipment, including basic knife skills. Maintain clean work space throughout shift. Ensure kitchen, cooler/freezer, and all food prep areas are clean and organized at the end of a shift.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a food service environment preferred. Ability to follow recipes, and food preparation and operation procedures. Must work well in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations. Must work well in a team environment along with other restaurant staff. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to lift 50 pounds. Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Compensation:

$17-$22 20-40hrs per week
