Job Description

Join Sala Astoria as a Lead Cook and bring your passion for Spanish and Mediterranean cuisine to our dynamic kitchen team. We're seeking an experienced culinary professional with 3+ years of hands-on experience in Spanish tapas, pintxos, paella, or Mediterranean cooking to lead our kitchen operations and mentor our cooking staff.

What You'll Do:
Lead and manage kitchen operations, maintaining the highest standards of food quality, safety, and cleanlinessExecute Spanish and Mediterranean dishes with precision, including tapas, pintxos, and paellaSupervise and mentor line cooks, fostering a collaborative and efficient kitchen environmentMaintain inventory, manage food costs, and ensure proper mise en placeCollaborate with the management team to develop specials and seasonal menu itemsUphold food safety protocols and kitchen standards consistently
What We're Looking For:
3+ years of professional cooking experience in Spanish or Mediterranean cuisineStrong leadership skills with the ability to maintain order and motivate a teamKnowledge of traditional cooking techniques and ingredient qualityAttention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and organizationFlexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Compensation:
$24 $28 per hour, based on experience.
