Duties Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, ensuring compliance with food safety standards Support cooking processes by operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Help with meal assembly during busy service times to ensure timely delivery of orders Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure freshness Collaborate with team members to uphold high-quality food presentation and service standards Skills Experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable Proven background in menu planning, food preparation, and cooking techniques Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures Hands-on experience in restaurant or kitchen environments within the food industry Excellent knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Familiarity with catering, serving, and general food service operations is a plus This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their culinary skills in a supportive environment.
