Position Summary The cook is responsible for prepping and cooking meals for our patients, residents and employees. The cook is expected to know different diets such as diabetic, low sodium and altered consistencies such as pureed and soft. The cook should be knowledgeable about reading and following recipes and working with commercial kitchen equipment. Requirements Servsafe preferred. High school graduate or GED diploma. Ability to meet hospital health requirements. Ability to cooperate with others and to accurately follow directions. Sense of initiative, responsibility, credibility, and a desire to be a member of the Dietary care team, dedicated to providing optimal service to our patients and residents.
