Duties Assist with menu planning to ensure balanced, nutritious, and appealing meal options Prepare food items according to standardized recipes and safety guidelines Cook and assemble meals efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards Serve meals to residents or customers with friendly, professional service Handle food safely by following proper sanitation, storage, and handling procedures Support catering events or special meal services as needed Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts Requirements Prior experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly preferred Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills including knife skills and meal assembly Experience in food service environments such as restaurants or catering is advantageous Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication skills for serving customers and collaborating with team members Basic understanding of menu planning, cooking methods, and food industry best practices Join us if you're passionate about creating delicious meals that bring joy to others!
