Job Description

At Merani Hotel Group, hospitality is more than a service - it's an experience. Across our hotels and restaurants in Niagara Falls, Canada, and the USA, we focus on creating memorable stays through comfort, style, and award‑winning care. We're excited to welcome Line Cooks to our culinary team. If you have experience in a high‑volume kitchen and a passion for producing quality dishes with consistency and care, we'd love to meet you. You'll work across multiple stations to support breakfast, lunch, and dinner service while helping us deliver exceptional dining experiences. This role collaborates directly with our Executive Chef and culinary leadership team. Responsibilities & Duties Prepare and cook menu items across assigned stations with consistency and accuracy Work in a fast‑paced kitchen environment while maintaining quality standards Operate kitchen equipment, including ovens, grills, fryers, braising pans, and more Follow recipes, portion guidelines, and presentation standards Maintain proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures Assist with prep work, including soups, sauces, entrées, and vegetables Restock and prepare stations for upcoming shifts Clean and sanitize workstations, tools, knives, and equipment Support smooth kitchen operations and take initiative when leadership is absent
Qualifications Experience:
1-5 years of experience in a similar culinary role Strong understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipment Ability to work efficiently without sacrificing quality Knowledge of food safety standards and proper cooking temperatures High school diploma or culinary training preferred Ability to work weekends & holidays
