Full-time Position Opportunity:
Old Westbury Golf & Country Club, a private 490-member family country club, located in beautiful Old Westbury, Long Island, NY is searching for a seasonal line cook. The line cook is responsible for preparing and cooking food in the kitchen while also maintaining a professional, guest-facing presence when needed. Must be able to work with seasonal or changing menus and experienced in preparing dishes from a variety of cuisines.Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook food inside the kitchen and guest facing. Work with changing menus with a wide range of cuisines. Execute a la carte and buffet menus. Maintain a clean and organized workstation. Adhere to all health, safety and sanitation standards.Qualifications:
Minimum two years of line cook experience, preferably in private club, hotel or upscale restaurant. Ability to multi-task. Must be able to communicate clearly a professionally. Professional and team oriented. Strong knife skills. Food handler certificate preferred. Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays.Compensation/Benefits:

Additional Club information: Old Westbury has a rich history and offers 27 holes of golf, one indoor and 14 outdoor tennis courts, outdoor swimming pool and a fitness center. Currently the club has 490-member families. Summers are busy when the pool opens (Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend). Multiple dining facilities offer varying meal periods with a range of cuisine styles. Annual Food and Beverage revenues approximate $4.6 million.Pay:
$18.00- $22.
