Overview Our award-winning Nutritional Service Department is seeking a Cook to join our team! St. Charles Hospital is a 243-bed, acute care community hospital located in Port Jefferson, NY. St. Charles is a proud member of Catholic Health Services of LI, the healing ministry of the Diocese of Rockville Centre, and has served the residents of the Three Village area for more than 110 years. The non-profit hospital features three centers of excellence: Maternal/Child services, Orthopedics and Rehabilitation. Job Details The Cook directs, engages in, and is responsible for the preparation and serving of food as specified for patients and special functions.

Preparation and serving of food for patients, employees and guests while adhering to standardized recipes Maintain a neat, clean and safe work environment Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

High School Diploma, GED or relevant experience is require Must have former batch cooking and a la carte experience Formal cooking training is preferred Posted Salary Range USD $25.00 - USD $28.00 /Yr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
