We believe that exceptional care starts with exceptional people. About the Role Prepares foods for all areas including: patient meals, retail/cafeteria and catered functions. Plans for food production by reviewing menus and production sheets. Collects all items necessary to prepare meals, ensuring adequate quantities; using time management. Ensures all food items are prepared according to ServSafe and HACCP requirements; uses HACCP Manager System for temperature monitoring. Maintains a clean, organized and safe work area; alerts Production Manager of any matters that may affect the standards set for food production. What You Bring High School graduate or equivalent. College or technical school related degree in food preparation preferred. A minimum of 3 years of previous employment in a hospital or restaurant foodservice position. Prefer to have basic knowledge of modified diets and catering experience.
