Duties Prepare, cook, and assemble menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation protocols Assist with menu planning by suggesting new dishes and improving existing recipes Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients efficiently Support kitchen operations during busy service hours by coordinating with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders Follow all food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality standards are met consistently Contribute to catering events or special functions by preparing large quantities of food with attention to detail Requirements Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable Proven kitchen experience in a restaurant or food service environment, demonstrating strong culinary skills Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques Skilled in knife work, meal preparation, and cooking methods across various cuisines Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards Familiarity with menu planning, food industry practices, and catering operations is a plus Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards serving guests and supporting colleagues Embark on a rewarding culinary journey where your skills make a difference!
