It is not intended to be a complete list of all duties, responsibilities, or qualifications required. Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and motivated Line Cook to join our team. This position plays a key role in daily kitchen operations by preparing food, maintaining quality standards, and supporting a clean, organized, and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced setting and is committed to teamwork, consistency, and food quality.
Available Shifts:
3:30 AM-9:00 AM/10:00 AM 12:00 PM/1:00 PM-8:00 PM/9:00 PM Key Responsibilities Prepare vegetables, proteins, sauces, and other ingredients for service Prepare menu items according to recipes, quality standards, and written orders Maintain food product inventory and communicate shortages to the Kitchen Manager Follow portion control and food quality standards at all times Learn and maintain strong knowledge of current recipes and menu items Communicate regularly with the Kitchen Manager regarding kitchen needs and operations Complete daily end-of-shift cleaning and kitchen duties Report any issues, discrepancies, or concerns to the Kitchen Manager immediately Qualifications & Requirements Must have a valid driver's license Ability to successfully pass an airport authority security background check and obtain clearance to work in an airport environment High school diploma or GED preferred Previous kitchen, food service, housekeeping, or janitorial experience is a plus Must be at least 18 or 21 years of age (as required by law) Strong communication skills and ability to work well with customers, passengers, and team members Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts Physical & Job Requirements To perform this role successfully, team members must be able to: Stand for extended periods during scheduled shifts (up to 10 hours) Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple tasks Bend, kneel, crouch, twist, climb, walk, and reach as needed Lift up to 40 pounds independently and push/pull up to 120 pounds using a wheeled cart Follow all company safety, health, and operational procedures Maintain a professional appearance and positive customer-focused attitude Work cooperatively with team members, supervisors, and guests from diverse backgrounds Report to work regularly and on time At Gideon Toal Management Services , we value teamwork, professionalism, and creating a positive experience for both our guests and employees.
