Full Job Description Requirements:
This position requires an organized, detail-oriented and personable applicant who wants to work with a first-class professional baseball organization in hosting 51 home games and a variety of special events. The candidate should be hardworking and a team-player. The applicant will play a key role in creating a positive fan experience at Joe Bruno Stadium. The Tri-City ValleyCats have 51 home games from May 15th until August 30th. In addition the the home games there are spring training, exhibition, and picnic events. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Responsible for food prep and presentation and ensures to maintain quality and proper presentation of all food products. Assist with receiving orders Preparing food for picnics, suites, concession, colleague lunch, and team meals. Follow proper procedures when cooking with all kitchen equipment including fryer, flat top, and ovens. Responsible for regular cleaning of Food & Beverage equipment and locations. Ensuring best practices for safety and sanitation in the kitchen in accordance with NYS Health Department regulations. Ensures timely delivery of food to guests in all areas of the stadium. Completing all other duties as assigned by the Food & Beverage Manager. Positive attitude and willingness to work as a team. There may be additional hours helping with prep for our picnics across the stadium during the day.
Qualifications:
1+ years of culinary experience preferred. Experience in High Volume food production. Serve Safe Certified or equivalent required Ability to effectively multi-task in a fast paced environment. Ability to maintain calm and professional demeanor in the face of adversity. Ability to be at the stadium long hours including night, weekend and holiday events. Culinary or Hospitality experience in a stadium or entertainment venue preferred but not required.
