Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment. As a Line Cook/Prep Cook, you will play a crucial role in the preparation and presentation of menu items, ensuring that every dish meets our standards of excellence. Duties Prepare ingredients by chopping, slicing, and dicing using proper knife skills. Assist in the cooking process by following recipes and cooking techniques. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace. Adhere to food safety regulations and best practices to ensure the safety of all food items. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Participate in menu planning and contribute ideas for new dishes or specials. Support catering events as needed, ensuring quality and presentation align with fine dining standards. Assist with inventory management and stock rotation to minimize waste. Qualifications Previous experience in a food service or culinary role is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Familiarity with fine dining standards and menu planning is a plus. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques. A team player with strong communication skills who can help foster a positive kitchen atmosphere.
