Line Cook

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals according to our recipes and standards. You will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, collaborating with the culinary team to deliver exceptional food and service to our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices
• Cook food according to recipes and portion sizes
• Ensure food is cooked properly and at the right temperature
• Plate and present dishes in an appealing manner
• Monitor food stock levels and replenish supplies as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items
• Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies Qualifications preferred:
• Previous experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a restaurant or food service establishment
• Knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation methods
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
• Understanding of food safety regulations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
