Line Cook/Fry Cook

Job Summary:

Apply in person Coleman's Corner 849 Lawrence Street We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook/ fry cook to join our team. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food items according to our recipes and standards. Your culinary expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the overall success of our restaurant.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat ect.
• Cook food items in various kitchen stations, such as the grill, fryer, or sauté station
• Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in taste and presentation
• Monitor food temperatures and ensure proper cooking techniques are used
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of food items
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food orders
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
• Assist in catering events as needed

Skills:

• Previous experience working in a restaurant or food service environment
• Strong knife skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Knowledge of proper food handling procedures
