Job DescriptionStarting rate $21.00-$23.00We are seeking a skilled and passionate Cook to join our culinary team in Webster, United States. As a Cook in our organization, you will play a crucial role in preparing high-quality meals, ensuring food safety, and contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our customers.
Prepare a variety of dishes using standard recipes and daily meal plansOperate kitchen equipment and maintain a clean and organized workspaceEnsure all food meets safety guidelines and adheres to sanitation standardsWork efficiently on the food line during peak meal timesCollaborate with kitchen staff to maintain smooth operations and timely food serviceRespond promptly to customer needs and requests to ensure satisfactionAssist in inventory management and food cost controlParticipate in menu planning and development of new recipesMaintain a positive and professional attitude towards customers and colleaguesQualificationsPrevious experience in production cooking or preparing therapeutic diets preferredStrong knowledge of food safety, hygiene practices, and culinary techniquesExcellent communication skills in English, both verbal and writtenCurrent food handling and sanitation licenses or willingness to obtain themBasic computer skills, including entry-level proficiency in Excel and WordAbility to make independent decisions and solve practical problems in a fast-paced environmentPhysical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 poundsStrong time management and organizational skillsFlexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidaysPositive, friendly demeanor with a customer-focused attitudeTeam player with the ability to collaborate effectively in a diverse kitchen environmentHigh school diploma or equivalent; culinary school training is a plusAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
