Duties Prepare ingredients by chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning to ensure smooth kitchen operations Assist in menu planning by suggesting creative ideas and ensuring ingredient availability Cook and assemble dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards Maintain food safety and sanitation standards throughout all food handling and preparation processes Support catering events by preparing large quantities of menu items with precision and efficiency Serve dishes promptly and professionally to ensure guest satisfaction Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and uphold a clean, organized workspace Requirements Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable Proven background in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant service with a focus on food handling safety Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices Experience with menu planning, catering, or food service operations is a plus Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude toward learning new culinary skills This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their culinary career while contributing to a vibrant kitchen environment.
