Job Description

We're looking for an enthusiastic Breakfast Cook who can deliver outstanding results in the kitchen, prepping meals. Your main responsibilities will be to cook breakfast buffet items as well as custom-ordered omelettes. You'll keep your workstation and equipment clean and follow all required safety protocols. Good organization skills, the ability to take directions well, and to read recipe instructions and labels in English, as well as handle a variety of kitchen equipment, sharp knives, and measuring tools, are required. Some experience and an associate's degree are preferred but not required. If you are a positive self-starter who can work with minimal supervision, we want to meet you! Compensation:
$16 - $17 hourly
Responsibilities:
Keep all prep and workstation areas organized and equipment hygienic and sanitized at closing Use the correct amounts of condiments, wash all fruits and vegetables to be peeled, diced, and sliced, slice meats, and mix a variety of sauces Abide by food safety guidelines and implement
COVID-19
safety measures in all food prep areas and stations where food is prepared and kitchen equipment is used Follow instructions for recipes. Read meal charts and labels in English and use the measuring tools correctly
Qualifications:
Experienced in the proper handling of kitchen equipment, sharp knives, and other kitchen tools Ability to stand on your feet for extended periods of time, as well as lift 35 to 50 pounds, pull heavier items, and bend frequently Prefer someone with some kitchen prep experience and associate's degree (AA) or equivalent, but it is not required Read and comprehend recipes, labels, and meal charts written in English Ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays and be willing to pitch in working extra hours at the supervisor's request About Company Founded in 2005, Rolling Hills Hospitality operates 15 hotel properties with a central focus on exceeding the expectations of its guests.
