Responsibilities:

Station setup before the start of the shift, ensuring all supplies needed are available and ready Food prep for service and private parties/special events as necessary Preparing food items as ordered Station Breakdown and cleanup

Expectations & Requirements:

Using good communication skills with and showing respect to all employees and management Ability to lift up to 30 lbs, work in a high heat environment and stand for extended periods Ability to multi-task in a fast paced setting while maintaining a calm composure Prepare menu items that may be cooked in a variety of kitchen equipment, and assume responsibility for quality of products served Stock and maintain sufficient levels of product to ensure a smooth shift Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation that includes all and surfaces, equipment, and utensils Assist in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed Follow closing checklists for kitchen stations and assist others in closing the kitchen Fundamental understanding of proper product storage methods, cooking techniques, and kitchen equipment Attend all scheduled employee meetings Having reliable transportation and arriving on time for scheduled shifts Following all hygiene and food handling policies and procedures as outlined by the Board of Health standards for Food Service Employees.
