Duties Prepare and cook nutritious meals and snacks tailored to preschool dietary needs, following approved menus and safety standards Plan and assist with menu development to ensure balanced, appealing, and age-appropriate food options Handle food preparation tasks including chopping, mixing, portioning, and plating with attention to hygiene and quality standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations at all times Serve meals in a friendly manner, encouraging healthy eating habits among young children Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as needed to ensure continuous meal service Follow all food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure safety during meal preparation and serving Requirements Proven experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide, preferably within early childhood education settings or similar environments Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food service operations within the food industry or restaurant settings Knowledge of menu planning tailored for young children's nutritional needs Skilled in food handling techniques, knife skills, and meal preparation with an emphasis on safety and hygiene Experience in catering or fine dining is a plus, demonstrating attention to detail and quality standards Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen environments Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with staff and interact positively with children Join us in creating a joyful dining experience that supports the health and happiness of our preschoolers!
