Pizza Cook

Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pizza Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, particularly in the art of pizza making. This role requires a blend of creativity and technical skills to craft delicious pizzas while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. The Pizza Cook will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, contributing to our commitment to providing exceptional dining experiences. Duties Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences. Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and handled in compliance with food safety regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain an efficient workflow during peak hours. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils used for food preparation. Requirements Proven experience in the food industry, particularly within a more upscale dining setting. Strong culinary skills with an emphasis on pizza making, including knowledge of dough preparation and topping combinations. Proficient knife skills and experience in meal preparation are essential for this role. Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations is required. Previous catering experience is advantageous but not mandatory. A team player with excellent communication skills who thrives in a collaborative kitchen environment.
