The ideal candidate will assist in ingredient preparation and cooking orders. Responsibilities Assist in the preparation of ingredients for menu items, including cutting proteins and vegetables, frying, and rice prep. Follow recipes and portion controls to ensure consistency in food quality. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and storage areas, as well as the front of house. Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe cooking environment. Collaborate with other cooks and staff for meal preparation and service. Help with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of low stock levels. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary setting is preferred but not required. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards. Excellent teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen.
