Cook The Lodge At Brookline - 2.8 Oklahoma City, OK Job Details Full-time 18 hours ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description We are seeking a dependable and motivated Dietary Cook to join our team. This position plays a key role in preparing and serving nutritious meals in accordance with posted menus, dietary needs, and food safety standards. The ideal candidate has a passion for serving others, especially in a geriatric care setting, and demonstrates a commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and respectful work environment.

Dietary Cook Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepares meals, desserts, and snacks according to the posted menu schedule. Ensures all special diets and dietary concerns (e.g., diabetic, low-sodium, texture-modified) are followed accurately. Serves meals that are both palatable and visually appealing. Maintains a clean, organized, and sanitized work area, including dishwashing as needed. Understands and follows health code regulations regarding food and beverage storage, and hot/cold holding temperatures. Maintains proper documentation related to food safety and kitchen procedures. Ensures a safe, respectful, and professional kitchen environment at all times. Participates in ongoing training and continuing education as required.
Dietary Cook Qualifications and Skills:
High school diploma or GED required. Must be at least 17 years of age. Interest or experience in geriatrics is highly preferred.. Knowledge of basic dietary techniques and food service procedures. Strong attention to detail, organization, and cleanliness.
