Key Responsibilities:
Your role will push you to build skill sets in 2 areas: 1)
Industry Expertise:
Your largest skillset will intuitively come in the food industry. You'll dive into tasks including inspecting, storing, preparing, and cutting meats, fruits, and vegetables. You'll become the Gordon Ramsay of Tulsa, OK by learning to spot spoiled foods and understanding proper cooking temperatures using various equipment (stoves, broilers, grills, fryers, etc). Like a true Masterchef, you'll finesse the art of seasoning, mixing, testing, and garnishing the foods being cooked. You'll be able to suggest new dishes, pushing you to think strategically and financially. 2)
Teamwork/Management:
On top of the cooking responsibilities, you'll learn to coordinate tasks with teammates during high pressure situations. You'll learn important skills to avoid burnout by coordinating with fellow employees to maximize productivity and efficiency. You'll be in charge of closing the kitchen using provided checklists as well as pushing others to comply with cooking regulations. 4 |
Compensation/Perks:
Among many other perks, we offer a starting, competitive salary of $13/hr with earnings potential being near $15/hr.
