This is a fulltime weekend position, weekends are required. Extra shifts available for fill in or assist with catering and banquet prep. Responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes according to recipes and quality standards, while also maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment while handling breakfast items. Ensuring timely service and high-quality food for guests. Must be able to pass a drug test and a background check. Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry. As a Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing high-quality breakfast items while adhering to food safety standards and ensuring a positive experience for our guests. Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and guidelines. Ensure all food handling procedures comply with food safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment. Utilize kitchen tools and equipment safely, including knives and cooking appliances. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed. Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food safety practices. Requirements Previous experience in a kitchen environment, preferably within the food industry. Knowledge of food handling techniques and safety regulations. Familiarity with various cooking methods. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Certification in food safety or culinary arts is a plus but not required.
