Full-Time or Part-Time About the Role WeStreet Ice Center and Puck's Bar & Grill are seeking dependable, energetic, and team-oriented Line Cooks to join our kitchen team. This position is responsible for preparing high-quality food, maintaining kitchen cleanliness and safety standards, and helping create an outstanding dining experience for every guest. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards. Operate kitchen equipment including grills, fryers, ovens, broilers, and sauté stations. Ensure all food is prepared, plated, and garnished consistently. Maintain proper portion control and food presentation standards. Stock and organize food and supplies at assigned stations. Follow food safety, sanitation, and product rotation procedures. Assist with food preparation during slower periods. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Complete opening and closing duties, including station cleaning and checklist completion. Work collaboratively with kitchen staff, servers, bartenders, and management. Attend scheduled team meetings and training sessions. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of kitchen preparation and cooking experience preferred. Previous line cook experience strongly preferred. Current Food Handler Permit required. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 9 hours). Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
