This role involves preparing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment, ensuring food safety standards are met, and contributing to an exceptional dining experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, strong kitchen skills, and experience in a food service setting. This position offers an opportunity to develop culinary expertise and work alongside a professional kitchen team committed to excellence. Duties Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to menu specifications and recipes Cook a variety of menu items with attention to presentation and flavor Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards Handle food with proper hygiene practices, including knife skills and food handling techniques Assist with meal preparation for dietary departments or special dietary needs as required Ensure all food is cooked to the appropriate temperature and meets safety regulations Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours Skills Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices Knowledge of menu planning, meal preparation, and catering operations Fine dining experience or restaurant experience highly desirable Proficiency in culinary skills such as knife handling, portioning, and plating Excellent understanding of food industry standards for hygiene and safety Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team This position is ideal for individuals passionate about culinary arts who want to grow their skills in a professional kitchen setting. We value teamwork, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional food experiences. This position starts out at $20/hour with participation in our tip pool.
