Prep Cook

The prep cooks responsibilities include, but are not limited to, making all sauces & dressings in accordance with provided recipes. Vegetable & protein prep, as well as very limited baking. Must maintain a sanitary and fully stocked workspace. Safety standards and effective communication with team members is of utmost importance! The Main Place offers lunch, dinner and a full bar, 5 days a week. Serving locally raised range fed beef burgers, daily & nightly specials, housemade desserts and Prime Rib every Saturday. Our menu features as many scratch-made ingredients as possible. Located at the base of the Wallowa Mountains, Halfway Oregon boasts scenic year-round views, 3 reserviors waiting to be fished & floated, rafting, hiking, hunting, snowmobiling, and the kind of country lifestyle you think of when you think of the West. The postion is posted as seasonal, but a year round position is available for the right person! We also offer housing convieniently located near the restaurant.
