Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and standards Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients Cook menu items with attention to quality, presentation, and timely service Maintain food safety standards by adhering to proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures Support kitchen operations by organizing supplies, restocking stations, and cleaning work areas regularly Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen flow and excellent service delivery Follow all health department regulations and company policies to uphold a safe working environment Skills Experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is highly desirable Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within restaurant or food industry settings Knowledge of menu planning and meal assembly techniques Proficiency with knife skills and basic culinary techniques Familiarity with food safety protocols and sanitation standards Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards serving guests and supporting colleagues
