Job Description

THE ROLE
TASKS + RESPONSIBILITIESOur production kitchen rolls out literal tons of pasta each week, makes and packages lasagnas, stocks, soups, sausages, rotisserie meats and sauces for retail sale, prepares salads, sandwiches and entrees for the service case and catering, as well as running the Arrosto Mediterranean rotisserie chicken dinner service. If you've got a great attitude, strong and collaborative work ethic, and a deep love of food - then this might be the job for you. The following are essential tasks of this position:

Responsible for following recipes and maintaining consistent cooking procedures.

Works with organizational systems, such as: written recipes, production logs, order boards, safety, and sanitation systems.

Maintains a clean and organized work area.

Maintains a positive and engaged attitude and a dedication to serving the larger team.

Supports other kitchen work areas to serve the overall business goals.

Cleans and maintains equipment as directed by Executive and Sous Chefs.

Works safely and follows safety procedures.

You must be able to stand, lift, bend, and carry heavy items for long shifts. 50 pounds should be a snap for you to carry.
THE NEED
REQUIREMENTS

You have availability for FT (32-40 hours per week) and can work regular weekend and shifts ending at 7p.

You have open availability during the holidays (November 15 - January 1) with no pre-arranged travel.

Good physical health is required and the ability to perform the physical demands of the job, including standing on your feet all day and safely lifting loads of up to 50 pounds.
