Job Description

Ready to work in a fast-paced kitchen where your skills and creativity directly impact what we serve? Hunker Down Food Truck is looking for an experienced Line Cook/Prep to join our small, close-knit crew. This is your chance to work in a supportive environment where line cooks get to develop and create daily specials your ideas matter here.

We're a busy food cart with a great work environment built on collaboration and respect. Our small team operates with an easy-going attitude, and we're looking for someone who thrives in this kind of setting.
What You'll Do:
Manage prep work and line cooking duties with proficiency on fryer, flattop, and saut stationsOpening and closing cart responsibilitiesWork independently and confidently during your shiftsDevelop and execute daily specials we want your culinary inputMaintain food quality and safety standardsCollaborate with a tight-knit team to keep operations running smoothlyAutomated POS/ No taking order (just cooking)
What We're Looking For:
Solid experience with fryer, flattop, and saut equipmentStrong prep skills and attention to detailComfort working independentlyA collaborative, positive attitudeReliability and punctuality
