In this vital role, you will support the dietary department by assisting with meal preparation, food service, and ensuring food safety standards are maintained. Duties Assist with menu planning and meal preparation, following dietary guidelines and safety protocols Handle food safely by practicing proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures Support kitchen operations through food prep tasks such as chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas, including dishwashing and equipment sanitization Light Barbacking Qualifications Previous experience in dietary services, food industry, or restaurant environment preferred Knowledge of dietary department procedures and menu planning beneficial Strong food handling skills with an understanding of food safety regulations Culinary experience including cooking, meal preparation, and knife skills advantageous Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well within a team Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety standards Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends or holidays as required Join us in providing nourishing meals that make a difference!
