Full Job Description Hours:
6AM-1PM
OR 6AM-3PM
Food Service Worker will have primary responsibility of cook, prepare and serve food to our Day Care and School Age Program.
Principal Accountabilities :
1. Provide a safe and clean space for the children. 2. Serves as a liaison between children and parents. 3. Endeavor to carry themselves with integrity, excellence and display work ethics.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. The Food Service Worker will take daily count of children to determine food production; record count on "Count Sheet". 2. Prepare and cook Breakfast, Lunch, and Snacks daily in accordance with standards and menus. 3. Set up serving carts for lunch with napkins, plates, bowls, utensils, cups, beverages and food. 4. Make sure there are Sani-Dex cloths on the cart for toddlers. Also, fill children cups in accordance to CACFP guidelines. 5. Monthly inventory, receive food shipment, verify order and properly stored the food order in the Pantry Room. Properly discard boxes. 6. Clean up Lunch Room and kitchen after lunch; empty the trash. 7. Setup food carts for snacks.

  • Must have basic cooking skills
Educational Requirement:
  • The Food Service Worker must have a high school diploma.
  • Must have or receive within 90 days of hire, the basic food handling course (PA Food Safety requirements)
Pay:
$13.00
