Experienced Cooks needed in Butler, $16-$18/hr Butler, PA 1 DAYS AGO 22530571 Summary Butler, PA In-Person $16.00 - $18.00 per Hour 2 Years Experience High school graduate or equivalency certificate (GED) No Commission 40.00 hours per week / Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Rotation Shift / Full-Time Description Local Butler event center seeking an experienced Line Cook (Sauté Station) $16-$18 hour Seeking a skilled and dependable Line Cook with restaurant experience, specializing in sauté cooking, to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be able to handle high-volume service while maintaining consistency, speed, and exceptional food quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items primarily at the sauté station, including meats, seafood, vegetables, and sauces.
• Maintain control of the sauté line and coordinate with other cooks to ensure timely and accurate orders.
• Follow standard recipes and plating guidelines with consistency.
• Set up and stock station with all necessary supplies before and during service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the station throughout the shift.
• Ensure food is stored properly and rotated according to food safety guidelines.
• Work closely with the chef and kitchen team to uphold kitchen standards.
• Assist in prepping ingredients for the sauté station and other areas as needed.
• Communicate clearly with team members and front-of-house staff.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of professional cooking experience, preferably in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant.
• Proven skill and confidence working the sauté and grill stations, etc.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards (ServSafe certification).
• Ability to read and execute recipes, prep lists, and station breakdowns.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Must be able to meet background check requirements and pass a drug screen. This is a Temp to Hire positions and is meant to be long term! Must be able and willing to work weekends and holidays!
