Job Description
We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and hardworking Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate enjoys working behind the scenes to ensure the kitchen is organized, stocked, and ready to deliver exceptional meals to our guests.
Responsibilities:
Prepare ingredients according to recipes and chef specifications Wash, peel, cut, chop, and portion vegetables, fruits, meats, and other food items Assist with food preparation for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and banquet events Label, date, and properly store food products Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep stations, coolers, and storage areas Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines Assist with receiving and stocking deliveries Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages to management Support line cooks and kitchen staff during service as needed Help minimize food waste through proper rotation and storage procedures
