Duties Assist with menu planning and food preparation to ensure timely delivery of meals Prepare and serve meals following established recipes and dietary guidelines Handle food safely, adhering to proper food handling and sanitation procedures Support catering events and special meal services as needed Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas, including dishwashing and utensil organization Help with food inventory management, including stocking supplies and rotating stock Provide excellent food service by serving residents or guests with professionalism and courtesy Skills Experience working in dietary departments or as a dietary aide, with knowledge of meal planning and food preparation techniques Strong culinary skills, including knife skills and cooking techniques suitable for various diets Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures Previous restaurant or kitchen experience demonstrating ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with the food industry standards for cleanliness, sanitation, and quality control Ability to assist with catering events and serve food professionally Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and interact positively with residents or guests Join our team to bring your culinary talents to life while supporting the health and happiness of those we serve.
