Responsibilities Assist in the preparation of ingredients for menu items, including washing, chopping, and measuring. Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in food quality and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and storage areas. Adhere to food safety guidelines, ensuring proper handling, storage, and sanitation of all food products. Collaborate with chefs and other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation. Participate in menu planning by providing input on seasonal ingredients and dish ideas. Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food as needed. Utilize knife skills effectively for various food preparations. Assist with serving meals during peak times as required. Qualifications Previous experience as a Cook is preferred. Familiarity with menu planning and fine dining standards is a plus. Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food service operations is preferred. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is essential. Experience in restaurant or catering environments is highly desirable. Culinary experience with an emphasis on meal preparation is advantageous. Some basic knife skills are required for efficient food prep tasks. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented kitchen environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
