Westmoreland Country Club is seeking a dependable Event Cook to support our banquet and special event culinary operations. This role is essential to delivering high‑quality food for weddings, tournaments, member events, and seasonal functions, ensuring smooth execution and memorable experiences for our guests. Private club setting with professional standards Well‑organized kitchen and structured events Supportive leadership that values teamwork and accountability Steady event business year‑round with seasonal peak opportunities A place where your role directly impacts memorable experiences Position Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items for banquets, weddings, tournaments, and club events Execute event menus accurately, efficiently, and on time Assist with event prep, station setup, and breakdown Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary workstations Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines Work closely with chefs and the culinary team during high‑volume services Maintain a positive, team‑focused attitude during busy event services What We're Looking For Previous cooking experience required (banquet or event experience preferred) Strong sense of timing, organization, and attention to detail Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, event‑driven environment Reliable, punctual, and team‑oriented mindset Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs Culinary education is a plus, but experience and attitude are key.
