Job Description

Line Cook Tall Pines Players Club, which offers spectacular golf, dining & events in the Twin Tiers along the New York - Pennsylvania border, is looking for a full-time Line Cook to join our team at our Friendsville, PA location. Weekend availability is necessary. We are looking for a Line Cook that can step into a high-volume kitchen and prepare food to the chef's exact specifications. This position requires a hard-working individual that is a team player, willing to learn and can take direction. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction. Pay commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities:
Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies Answer, report and follow head chef's instructions Prepare food for service (chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces) Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff Clean up stations and take care of leftover food Stock inventory appropriately Ensure food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards Maintain a positive and professional attitude with coworkers and customers
Requirements:
Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks Ability to clearly and effectively communicate in English Works well under pressure with ability to multi-task Previous experience required Nights, weekends, and holidays required
