Position Overview:

We're looking for an experienced and dependable Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, pays close attention to detail, and shares our passion for great food and great people. You'll prepare menu items to standard, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and ensure every dish leaving the kitchen reflects the care and quality The Table is known for. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items consistently and efficiently during service hours Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment Assist with prep work, daily station setup, and breakdown Communicate clearly and respectfully with team members and front-of-house staff Manage food inventory and minimize waste Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures Contribute ideas for menu specials or improvements

Qualifications:

1+ year of experience in a commercial kitchen preferred (breakfast/lunch experience a plus) Strong multitasking and time management skills Positive attitude, reliability, and team-oriented mindset Knowledge of proper food handling and safety standards Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs Availability for early morning and weekend shifts
