Cook - Full Time 11a-7p, every other weekend Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Cook to join our vibrant culinary team in a healthcare setting! In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional food services by preparing, cooking, and serving delicious meals to our residents that meet high standards of quality and safety. Your enthusiasm for food industry practices and culinary excellence will help create a warm, welcoming environment for our residents. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your kitchen skills while contributing to a team committed to excellence and compassion. Duties Assist in menu planning to ensure variety, nutritional value, and appealing presentation of meals Prepare and cook food items with precision, demonstrating strong knife skills and culinary techniques Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen Support food preparation activities, including chopping, mixing, portioning, and plating dishes Serve meals efficiently while ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to dietary restrictions or special requests Preparing large quantities of food Maintain inventory levels, restock supplies, and assist with kitchen sanitation to uphold health standards Experience Previous experience in
HEALTHCARE
dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable Hands-on experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service environments Background working in healthcare food industry with strong kitchen experience Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques Experience in managing multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards Join us to bring your culinary talents to life!
