Job Description
One of the area's top caterers located on the Main Line is seeking a professional, organized and team player to assume the full time position of Catering Cook The cook is responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in preparing and executing menus, ensuring a high level of performance and client satisfaction. Participates in food preparation, produce food consistently high quality, taste and presentation Controls food cost by assisting in training kitchen staff on the proper methods of food preparation and handling, by training kitchen employees on how to handle leftover food items Ensures that all kitchen employees consistently adhere to uniform, grooming and appearance standards Establishes and requires strict adherence to health department sanitation and food handling guidelines Maintains effective working relationships with other departments
