Job Description

Position Overview This position is a hands-on cooking role( not a supervisory role ) with primary responsibility for physically preparing and cooking made-to-order breakfast meals efficiently and professionally for both guests and staff during daily breakfast service, followed by lunch preparation and service (and other jobs as needed). You will beworking as part of a kitchen team that includes 2-individual ( Chef/Cook) and 2-3 servers , with shared responsibility for daily meal service . The team works collaboratively to provide consistent, well-prepared meals for both guests and staff. The main focus of this position includes: On-the-line cooking position for Breakfast service, prepared to order from an 6 to 8-item menu , served to staff and guests Lunch preparation and service Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen Working collaboratively with the kitchen and service team to ensure smooth daily operations This position suits someone who values teamwork, reliability, and clear communication in a fast-paced, remote lodge setting.

Must be available August through mid-
September Schedule:
Must be able to work 7 days per week, minimum 8 hours per day
Menu Compliance:
Must be willing and able to follow a set menu
Breakfast Experience:
Must have experience running made-to-order breakfast service for 30+ people
Professionalism:
Must be a team player, adaptable to last-minute changes, exceptionally clean and organized, and able to accommodate multiple dietary needs and restrictions Preferred Qualifications 5-8 years of professional cooking experience-Must include hands-on, on-the
  • line breakfast experience.
Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and ability to cook and serve up to 45 employees/guests Good food presentation skills Ability to work under challenging, real-world conditions , including occasional interruptions to water or power and delayed food deliveries Calm, reliable, and solution-oriented approach to daily work Work Environment & Schedule This is a remote Alaskan fishing lodge , where teamwork, flexibility, and reliability are essential. Staff work closely together and often assist one another to keep daily operations running smoothly.

August 7th or 8th (depending on travel origin)
